Le Dr Michael Winterhoff, pédopsychiatre allemand, dit dans son dernier livre que le mépris des règles, le sabotage des cours ou la violence rendent de plus en plus impossible la vie quotidienne à l'école. Il n’est pas le seul, d'autres de ses collègues, comme le Professeur Manfred Spitzer, voient aussi la cause principale du problème dans un manque croissant de relations entre les enfants et les parents ou les enseignants, cela est encore amplifié par la numérisation. Mais ni les journalistes ni les politiciens ne prennent suffisamment en compte ces avertissements. D'autres mises en garde concernant la numérisation croissante de l'éducation ne sont pas non plus entendues. Lors d’une conférence, le pédagogue Peter Hensinger dévoile diverses multinationales qui sont des éléments moteurs en arrière-plan. Leur souhait est de rendre superflus tous les enseignants grâce à la technologie. Les élèves devraient réagir aux instructions des logiciels informatiques « intelligents » plutôt qu’à celles des enseignants. Par contre de nombreuses données de l'élève sont collectées et évaluées en temps réel.
L'élève idéal devrait donc constamment être examiné en détail, sans aucune sphère privée et sous le contrôle des multinationales. La nouvelle génération serait alors systématiquement éduquée à devenir des esclaves qui ne sont capables que d’écouter et de faire ce que dit la machine. Le pédagogue Matthias Burchardt de l'Université de Cologne exige donc que les parents et les enseignants prennent enfin des mesures contre cette technologie.
