In this documentary, Kla.TV sheds light on the history of the EU’s origins and decision-makers, from its founding fathers to its current high echelon policy. Who is steering the European Union and what are its real goals? Learn at the beginning how the EU is at war with Russia. Then, in the following chapters, we explore the question of how it could have come to this. CHAPTER 1 – The European Union is at War On December 10, 2012, the European Union was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. 10 years later, the EU is participating in the Russia-Ukraine war with billions of dollars in military supplies. Instead of de-escalating and focusing on peace negotiations, this further fuels the war. The EU has so far provided EUR 4.5 billion for the military interference with weapons and equipment in the Russia-Ukraine war. The current war policy of the European Union is skillfully disguised as peace policy. Peace Facility is the name of the EU’s war financing instrument, that provides the funding for war participation. On January 10, 2023, the EU and NATO also signed a future strategic cooperation agreement in Brussels. Since the EU is militarily interfering in the Russia-Ukraine war, the entire EU is already involved in a war of a non-EU member country. This risks and provokes the danger of a third world war and the spread of warfare on European soil. Moreover, the EU is engaged in an economic war with Russia. Since Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, and especially since the start of the war between Russia and the Ukraine in February 2022, numerous sanctions have been imposed against Russia. But these mainly affect Europe, especially the European population, as the sanctions push up energy prices and inflation in Europe. In the current foreign and security policy of the EU, it also becomes clear: The EU countries submit to the dictates of the EU leadership! And this despite the fact that in all important decisions at the EU level – as in the case of arms deliveries and sanctions – the principle of unanimity prevails, which gives each state a de facto right of veto. If only one country makes an opposing vote, the war participation would not materialize. This principle of unanimity and right of veto applies to decisions taken in the Council of the European Union on foreign and security policy. When voting on arms deliveries and sanctions, the Council of the European Union is composed of the foreign ministers of the EU member states. However, countries like Hungary and Austria, which do not participate in military deliveries, make them possible by using the option of "constructive abstention." While abstaining from the vote, they simultaneously do not use their veto right of a NO vote on war participation. Why is this veto not used and why is even a neutral country like Austria not voting “NO” and thus preventing participation in the war? To answer this question, it is necessary to understand how the EU functions and how it is structured. CHAPTER 2 – EU Membership Leads to Surrender of Nation state Sovereignty The beginnings of the EU date back to the 1950s. On May 9, 1950, then French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman presented the idea of placing Franco-German coal and steel production under a common authority. This went down in history as the "Schuman Plan" and led to the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community in April 1951. The EU therefore celebrates Europe Day every year on May 9. Today, the EU is an association of 27 European states with a total of 450 million inhabitants. Over time, the EU has been formed more and more into a political union, gaining increasing influence and a position of political power over the member states. In 1957, the European Economic Community was established through the Treaties of Rome by the states of Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1987, the Community, which until then had focused on economic cooperation, was transformed into a political union. The Treaty of Maastricht in 1992 added a common foreign and security policy. In subsequent reform treaties, most recently in the Treaty of Lisbon in 2009, the supranational political competences of the EU were constantly expanded and the national governments were disempowered. In several reform treaties, most recently in the Treaty of Lisbon in 2009, the supranational competences of the EU were expanded step by step. This led to the fact that today about 90% of the legislation in the EU member states concerns the implementation of EU laws. This represents an enormous restriction of the sovereignty of an EU member state and shows the huge influence on legislation. The precondition for the Lisbon Treaty to come into force was ratification by all 27 EU member states. But what about when ratification is not accepted by the population of a country? How does the EU deal with undesirable voting behavior? After the Irish population rejected the Lisbon Treaty in a referendum in 2008, a new vote was held without further ado. In a second referendum in 2009, which was not without controversy, the Irish people finally voted in favor. In this context, it is also striking that the EU government takes very hard action against its own member states if they pass laws or reforms that the EU Commission "does not like”. A statement by Georges Berthoin, who was Chief of Staff under Jean Monnet, one of the founding fathers of the EU – gives an idea of what is behind it. Berthoin said in an interview in 2010, "What has been realized in Europe will one day be applicable at the level of a world government. This is precisely the great challenge of the 21st century. A striking example of this is a speech George Bush Senior gave to the United Nations General Assembly in 1990 when he was acting President of the United States of America. In it, he declared that he hoped to create a new world order." In the following we will name the masterminds and architects of this "new world order" in connection with the European Union. CHAPTER 3 – The Founding Fathers of the EU The Founding Fathers of the EU – Their Goals, Financiers and Patrons In addition to Robert Schumann, the most important founding fathers of the EU include statesmen Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, Jean Monnet, Paul-Henri Spaak, Walter Hallstein and Józef Retinger. 1.Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi [1894 - 1972] After World War I, there were various efforts to unite the European nations under a single state. One of these was the Pan-European Union, founded in 1922 by the Austrian Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi. Baron Louis Rothschild supported the Paneuropa movement and referred Coudenhove-Kalergi to the Hamburg banker Max Warburg. The latter donated 60,000 gold marks to boost the movement. In 1946, British Prime Minister and Freemason Winston Churchill delivered a speech in Zurich written by Coudenhove-Kalergi. In it he called for the establishment of the "United States of Europe." Finally, in 1948, under Churchill’s chairmanship, a congress of the "European Movement" was held in The Hague, which later led to the establishment of the Strasbourg Council of Europe. Coudenhove-Kalergi was himself a Freemason, and in 1947 he founded the original Masonic lodge PAN-EUROPA. The masonic research lodge 'Quatuor Coronati' admitted frankly in its 1995 Yearbook concerning the 'Paneuropa movement' that Coudenhove-Kalergi had built up his political organization – worldwide – with the help of the lodge apparatus of Freemasonry. Among the known supporters were Freemasons like Otto von Habsburg, Hjalmar Schacht, Ludwig Nathaniel Rothschild, Konrad Adenauer, Felix Warburg and Jean Monnet. 2.Jean Monnet [1888 - 1979] and Robert Schumann [1886 - 1963] Freemason Jean Monnet wrote the historic declaration with which then-French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman presented the creation of the European Coal and Steel Community on May 9, 1950. Robert Schuman was elected in 1958 as the first president of the newly established European Parliament in Strasbourg, which replaced the Joint Assembly of the European Coal and Steel Community. Jean Monnet, in turn, was the first President of the European Coal and Steel Community from 1952 - 1955. Georges Berthoin was the Chief of Staff under Jean Monnet during this period. Berthoin was also one of the co-founders in 1973 of the Trilateral Commission, an organization set up by David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger as part of a global shadow government. In 1975, Berthoin became European president of the Trilateral Commission. 3.Józef Retinger [1888 - 1960] Polish Freemason Józef Retinger was one of the decisive architects of the European Movement after World War II. Its foundation stone was laid at the 1948 European Congress in The Hague. Under the chairmanship of Winston Churchill, 700 delegates took part. The congress was chaired, among others, by Józef Retinger. In a subsequent meeting, the founding of the Council of Europe was prepared and the European Economic Union was decided. Józef Retinger was the Secretary General of the European Movement from 1948 - 1950. He was also considered a co-founder of the informal Bilderberg conferences initiated by David Rockefeller from 1952 to 1954, after which he was the permanent secretary of the Bilderberg Group until his death in 1960. The Bilderberg Conference has been an exclusive gathering of world leaders since 1954. It takes place once a year behind closed doors, completely without publicity and completely undercover. Previously little-known participants often find themselves in high positions shortly after attending the Bilderbergers. The birth certificate of the European Economic Community is the so-called Treaty of Rome of 1957. The British historian Richard Aldrich revealed that they had their origin at the Bilderberg meeting in 1956. 4.Paul-Henri Spaak [1899 - 1972] Belgian Prime Minister Paul-Henri Spaak was President of the European Movement from 1950 - 1955 and was instrumental in establishing those institutions that evolved into the European Union. Spaak met regularly with Jean Monnet, Robert Schuman, Walter Hallstein and Konrad Adenauer at Jean Monnet's private residence to discuss the implementation and launch of the EU. Walter Lippmann, co-founder of the Rockefeller-funded Council on Foreign Relations, was also a regular guest there. 5.Walter Hallstein [1901 - 1982] Walter Hallstein, a German lawyer and politician, was instrumental in drafting the "European Economic Community" EEC Treaty, which came into force on January 1, 1958. Hallstein was the first President of the Commission of the EEC from 1958 - 1967 and subsequently Chairman of the International European Movement until 1974. It is worth noting in this context that Hallstein had participated in the Bilderberg Conference in 1958. It is evident from the founding fathers that the EU was installed and financed by international Freemasonry and powerful string-pullers. The goal: the establishment of a world government, as clearly expressed by Jean Monnet's Chief of Staff. Further insights regarding financing of European initiatives and the founding fathers reveal the following facts: In 1948, Coudenhove-Kalergi founded the American Committee for a United Europe in New York. Funding for this came from the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations, among others. The executive director of this committee was former intelligence chief William Joseph Donovan, and his deputy was CIA director Allen Welsh Dulles. Donovan was also a member of the Rockefeller Foundation. Allen Dulles also served on the board of the Rockefeller family-funded Council on Foreign Relations from 1927 - 1969 and was considered one of the most influential Freemasons of his time. The American Committee for a United Europe proved to be a major funder of the European Movement as a whole until the 1960s. It was used as a discreet way to covertly funnel CIA funds to European organizations - including the Council of Europe and the European Coal and Steel Community. In the mid-1950s, this committee received about $1 million a year from the CIA. U.S. government documents released from 2000 also revealed that leaders of the European Movement – Józef Retinger, Robert Schuman, and Paul-Henri Spaak – also received funds from the CIA. Up until this point, the Rockefeller family, and in particular the family scion David Rockefeller, is revealed as a powerful mastermind behind the founding fathers and behind the financing of the EU. David Rockefeller, who died in 2017, was a U.S. banker and, from 1949, served on the board and later as director of the Council on Foreign Relations, which pulls the strings as a kind of shadow government in America. From the CFR, under great influence of David Rockefeller, among others, the Bilderberg Conference and the Trilateral Commission were strategically prepared and installed in tandem with the European Union. The creation of the EU was essentially financed by his confidants Donovan and Dulles with the help of the CIA. Does the European Union today reveal itself to be just as much a pawn of these powerful masterminds and their control centers? What about the current EU leadership? CHAPTER 4 – The EU Commission Presidents Since 1999 It is worth noting that the presidents of the EU Commission are not directly elected by the people but rather are nominated by the European Council and then elected by the European Parliament. 1.Romano Prodi [President of the European Commission 1999 - 2004] Romano Prodi was a member of the Council of the European Council on Foreign Relations until 2019. This was founded and funded primarily by George Soros in 2007 as the European offshoot of the Council on Foreign Relations. Prodi's former political advisor Alba Lamberti is now the ECFR’s deputy director. Prodi was a participant in Bilderberg meetings starting in 1980 and later even served on the Bilderberg Group's leadership committee. 2.Jose Manuel Barroso [President of the European Commission 2004 - 2014] Barroso has been part of the Bilderberg Group since 1994 and now serves on the Bilderberg Leadership Committee. 3.Jean-Claude Juncker [President of the European Commission 2014 - 2019] In 2019, the Hungarian daily newspaper "Magyar Idök" reported extensively on ongoing and intensive contacts between George Soros or representatives of his organizations with leading EU politicians. Soros has officially met with Juncker or members of his commission more than 20 times since the beginning of Jean-Claude Juncker’s term. Juncker’s 1999 statement makes clear the approach to a new world order. "We decide something, leave it lying around and wait and see what happens. If no one kicks up a fuss because most people don’t understand what has been decided, we continue step by step until there is no turning back." At this point, the next string-puller who directs EU decision-makers is revealed. George Soros also works out of the CFR. His hand can be seen in the overthrow of the government in the Ukraine, the Euro-Maidan coup in 2013-2014. Soros himself stated in a 2014 CNN interview that "he actively contributed to the events in Ukraine with his Soros Foundation." But there is also concrete evidence that Soros has been involved in all of the "color revolutions" – i.e., government overthrows – of the past 15 years. 4.Ursula von der Leyen [President of the European Commission since 2019] Before von der Leyen rose to the position of European Commissioner, she officially attended four Bilderberg conferences. She is considered the first point of contact for David M. Rubenstein in Europe. Rubenstein is Chairman of the CFR and a member of the Trilateral Commission founded by David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger. In the same breath as the EU Commission Presidents, numerous EU politicians, government officials and key figures of leading EU states must also be mentioned. They are equally members of the Bilderberg Group, the European Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. Here are a few examples: France The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, was a participant in the 2014 Bilderberg Conference, and his longtime advisor Alexandre Adam and his advisor on European affairs Garance Pineau are members of the ECFR. Italy Mario Draghi was Italian prime minister until October 2022. He was a participant in the Bilderberg Conference in 1994, 1995, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007. He is also a member of the Group of Thirty, a private club of leading financial players founded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Giorgia Meloni has been the Italian prime minister since October 2022. In February 2021, she joined the Aspen Institute, an international think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C. This institute is funded by the Rockefeller family, among others. Austria Sebastian Kurz was Austria’s chancellor until 2021, during which time he was a member of George Soros’ ECFR. The current Federal Minister for Europe & Constitution, Karoline Edtstadler, is also a member of the ECFR. Current Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg meet regularly with George Soros or his son Alexander Soros. Nearly all Austrian Chancellors from 1970 onwards have attended Bilderberg conferences. Germany German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was a participant in the 2010 Bilderberg Conference, and Jörg Kukies is considered one of his key advisors. He is State Secretary in the Federal Chancellery and was a participant in the 2022 Bilderberg Conference. The two parliamentary state secretaries in Olaf Scholz’s cabinet, Niels Annen and Franziska Brantner, are members of the ECFR. Here, too, it is clear to see how the current top leaders of the EU are appointed from within the Bilderbergers, the CFR or its European offshoot the ECFR. As a logical consequence, they are also controlled by these bodies and implement their goals in their policies, especially the creation of the one world government – and this largely unnoticed by the population. James Warburg, member of the CFR said on February 17, 1950 "We are going to have one world government, whether you like it or not, either by submission or by agreement." Since its inception, the EU has been financed and controlled by powerful string-pullers who have conspired to create a one-world government. These have undermined the sovereignty of the EU countries step by step and up to this point has imposed the One World Government agenda against the will of the people. The EU has turned itself into a control center of these global strategists, dictating to all member states up to the national legislation. What many are not yet really aware of is that currently, the entire EU and thus every EU citizen (!) is at war with Russia. How was such a thing possible without being noticed by the general population? David Rockefeller, the founder of the Bilderberg Conference said in 1991, "We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine, and other major publications whose directors have attended our meetings in the past and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. [...] It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government." In other words, Rockefeller is very grateful to the mainstream media, because they concealed the plans from the world public for decades and covered the activities of the global strategists. This also includes the mainstream media in Europe! Only in such a way it could succeed in setting up over decades a world government step by step from behind the scenes, infiltrating the governments of the EU member countries and even camouflaging the current participation in war as peace project. But it is not yet too late! These string-pullers and their allies in the nation-states must come with their faces and names into the consciousness and under observation of the population, likewise their plan for the implementation of a world government. Only in such a way it is possible that the unsuspecting population will not be further subjected to this dictate, but these wire-pullers and their switching points and plans will be overcome by the population.
