For the first time in September 2014, Russian and Ukrainian musicians united in Chelyabinsk, Southern Urals, to draw attention to the dramatic warlike conflicts. With the song: „Schenschiny ustali roschat soldat", Which translates to: Women are tired of giving birth to soldiers together they defended themselves against the war in eastern Ukraine. Today, this song has lost neither its power nor its relevance. Quite the opposite! From an emotional point of view, this song is even more profound today, because the current war between Russia and Ukraine has the potential to quickly spread and expand the scope of the war beyond measure. In fact, it is not only us Europeans who are feeling the consequences of this dreadful war with its severe price increases. The warmongers never tire of coming up with even more ingenious restrictions and exploitations for each and every citizen. The song or rather the powerful video clip, which was created with the help of around 300 people, touches every heart that is geared towards peace and the togetherness of all nations as one community. And it shows clearly how urgent it is, especially now, to stand up against any division of people. The clip contains images of grief, destruction and loneliness, and yet it ends on a hopeful note with the rise of countless air balloons in the colours of the Ukrainian and Russian national flags. The heartfelt wish for peaceful coexistence between the two nations could not have been conveyed more clearly. Once again it proves that the people don't want a war! They wish to live together in unity. They also no longer want to pay with the lives of their sons, fathers and wives, just so that greedy crisis profiteers can get even richer through wars! "Women are tired of giving birth to soldiers". I used to love war movies, and I loved marches and the thunder of boots. If you only knew how strong I thought I was when I pulled the trigger on my gun. But when it comes to matters of war, let's stop talking large now, because this is my house, and this is where the bomb hits me: Now I recognize my fear. Chorus: "But tell that to the women who are tired of giving birth to soldiers." (Ukrainian) Walls without windows, houses without light: Where have my friends gone and all their strength to help? Everything can be over in a few days: Oh, what a big brotherly grave! What will you do alone at home if I have to go to war? The word "war" makes you sick, because it just makes you want to puke! Chorus: "Ask the women who are tired of bearing soldiers." What will you do alone if I have to go to war? The word "war" makes me sick. But my fatherland has taught me otherwise. I talk about what I am afraid of. I'm afraid to even say the word, because it's hanging by a thread.
