Në faqen e tij reitschuster.de, gazetari investigativ kritik Boris Reitschuster publikoi një intervistë mes gazetares Milena Preradovic dhe autores së njohur Birgit Kelle më 8 prill 2024. Bëhet fjalë për librin e fundit të Birgit Kelle: “Po i blej vetes një fëmijë – biznesi jo dinjitoz i surrogacisë.” Intervista trajton pyetjen nëse surrogacia është një “situatë fituese” apo një biznes i madh në të cilin gratë dhe fëmijët bëhen mallra. Milena Preradovic e hap temën me deklaratën se tema e zëvendësimit është shumë e promovuar në shtypin tabloid dhe komunitetin LGBTQ. Të famshmit si Elton John dhe Paris Hilton janë në krye të rrugës, gjë që po frymëzon shumë çifte të martuara meshkuj për të bërë të njëjtën gjë. Kjo është arsyeja pse ata tani kanë fëmijët e tyre të lindur nga nëna surrogate. Birgit Kelle ka një mendim të qartë për këtë: "Në fund të fundit, surrogacia është trafikim njerëzor. Gratë e varfra shfrytëzohen pamëshirshëm. Fëmijët e prodhuar si mall (…)”. Ne duhet ta durojmë këtë pamje shqetësuese gjithnjë e më shpesh në këtë botë gjithnjë e më tolerante të dallimeve. Pamjet video të një çifti homoseksual amerikan që organizojnë binjakë përmes inseminimit artificial dhe surrogacisë janë duke u bërë virale aktualisht. Në TikTok, burrat postojnë me krenari video të tyre me këto foshnja të porsalindura. Njëri nga dy burrat sillet sikur vetë ky njeri të ishte nëna. Ne e shohim burrin në shtratin e spitalit me një foshnjë dhe në një karrocë me rrota në spital. Ai mban thonj të gjatë, qerpikë fals, grim dhe flokë të gjatë. Dhe sigurisht, pavarësisht gjithë maskaradës, trupi i tij është dukshëm ai i një mashkulli. Në një video, fëmija i pafuqishëm dhe i frikësuar vendoset në gjoksin e tij me flokë. Sikur kjo pamje të mos ishte mjaft shqetësuese, ky influencues më pas na zbulon se nëna surrogate nuk është askush tjetër veçse motra e tij e vogël. Dikush do të donte të paralajmëronte mbrojtjen e fëmijëve. Por surrogacia është e ligjshme në shumë shtete të Shteteve të Bashkuara. Dhe qeveria e semaforëve është gjithashtu shumë e interesuar për legalizimin e surrogacisë në Gjermani.
