Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, herzlich willkommen zum heutigen Medienkommentar. In unserer Serie „JA“ zur Einwanderungsintiative – Steht die Schweiz auf verlorenem Posten? Möchten wir Ihnen weitere Vorenthaltungen an wichtigen Informationen aufzeigen. Entgegen den Schlagzeilen der führenden Medien hat die Schweiz auch nach der Abstimmung viele Vorteile auf ihrer Seite. Stoppt die EU die Zusammenarbeit, indem sie Verträge kündigt, schadet sie nämlich nicht der Schweiz, sondern vor allem sich selber und ihren Mitgliedsstaaten. Hier weitere Fakten dafür: Seit 2003 lieferte die Schweiz laufend Beträge an die EU ab. 105 Millionen Franken gingen an das Schengen-Dublin-System. Über 67 Millionen Franken wurden an Bildungs- und Jugendprogramme ausbezahlt und weitere 59 Millionen an das EU-Kulturprogramm Media. Knapp 41 Millionen Schweizer Franken flossen ans Statistikamt „Eurostat“ und 13 ½ Millionen an die Europäische Umweltagentur. Gleichzeitig gingen hohe Summen an die EU-Osthilfe. Insgesamt bezahlte die Schweiz seit 2003 an die EU 4,8 Milliarden Franken. In derselben Zeit flossen von diesen 4,8 Milliarden gerade mal die Hälfte an die Schweiz zurück. Für den Zeitraum von 2014 bis 2020 sind erneut Zahlungen in Höhe von ca. 5 Milliarden Schweizer Franken von der Schweiz an die EU vorgesehen. Kündigt die EU die Verträge mit der Schweiz, wird sie eindeutig als Verlierer aus der Geschichte hervorgehen. Die EU wird sich also gut überlegen müssen, ob sie der Schweiz vorschnell alle Verträge künden wird. Trotzdem wird durch die Medien beständig die Angst vor wirtschaftlichem und politischem Nachteil geschürt. Dass die Schweiz hier am längeren Hebel sitzt, wird kategorisch verschwiegen. Und dies, obwohl die „Erklärung der Pflichten der Journalistinnen und Journalisten“ verlangt: „Sie (Die Journalisten) unterschlagen keine wichtigen Elemente von Informationen und entstellen weder Tatsachen, noch Dokumente (…)“ Es scheint, hier wird beständig gegen den Pressekodex verstossen und Auslassung in grossem Ausmass geübt.
