Ralf Ludwig at Demo Berlin: The final political decision must lie with the people!
The final political decision MUST be made by the people, explains lawyer Ralf Ludwig. It is the people's right to take their future into their own hands. Anything else is pseudo-democracy.

It's really difficult on an open stage like this because you either look in that direction and then they've got your back, or you look in that direction. OK, there are only the participants in this meeting. First of all, I'm glad you're all here. Thank you very much.
Hello Berlin. Hello everyone from all over Germany. I've been asked to say a few words about the topic of clarification or coming to terms with the past. Why should I talk about coming to terms with the past?
A journalist from SWR just asked this question when we had this improvised press conference. The journalist from SWR asked Mr Ballweg why do you actually want to come to terms with the past? What do you actually want to come to terms with? Since Michael has already given the answer, I would like to give my answer again on stage.
I would say to my colleague from SWR, ask Paul Schreier, ask Aya Velasquez, ask Dr. Christian Hafner, ask those who are journalists, not from the mainstream media or the mainstream, however you want to call it, but as freelance journalists who do not receive state money but who have to work freely. Who have to see how they finance themselves. Ask these colleagues, fellow journalists, what coming to terms with the past means.
Coming to terms with the past means first asking questions, not just nodding along, but asking questions. And that is what these colleagues have done. And these colleagues have partly sued to get the minutes of the Robert Koch Institute and the Corona crisis team released, partly through leaks. And dear journalists from SWR, in case you haven't heard: We have the most massive infringements on the basic rights of people in the Federal Republic of Germany since the Second World War behind us. And when you then ask what we actually have to come to terms with, then I am not surprised that we have these years behind us. Because the journalists, who actually have the task of intervening as the fourth power if necessary, of asking questions as the fourth power, have completely failed. And it is understandable that no investigation is desired here. And investigation would also be a political investigation. Investigation would mean setting up a committee of inquiry, a commission of inquiry. You can see how difficult it is for politicians to investigate. But that is also understandable, of course. Why should the perpetrators themselves investigate their crimes? That would be the same as if the police here in Berlin were allowed to judge for themselves afterwards whether they did everything right or not. So I ask, where is the media investigation?
And I also want to name two names from the mainstream who must be mentioned here, on this stage and in front of this audience. They are Jürgen Mladek - who unfortunately died recently - the former editor-in-chief of the Nordkurier and Simone Schamann. Simone Schamann now works for Nius. And Simone Schamann has already asked the critical questions for the Nordkurier that the mainstream should have asked when it was not yet opportune. She even received a reprimand from the Press Council. And now listen carefully: Simone Schamann was reprimanded by the Press Council on the grounds that her articles would lead to a decrease in willingness to be vaccinated in Germany. I was not aware until then that the job of the Press Council in Germany was to ensure that there was a willingness to be vaccinated or not.
What does all this have to do with coming to terms with the past? If we look at it, who should come to terms with it? I founded my own center with a few colleagues. It is called the Center for Education, Investigation, Legal Prosecution and Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity. Many people always say, why crimes against humanity? Because what we experienced here were crimes against humanity. People were persecuted. Doctors are still being persecuted today. Doctors are being put in prison for doing their job.
My colleague Rainer Füllmich is in prison in Göttingen. He is also a great investigator. Coming to terms with the past can only happen if we change the political situation. Because the political situation we have, in which we simply give up power, will never lead to a coming to terms with the past. Because, as I said, then the perpetrators would come to terms with the past themselves. Nobody can assume that those who committed these crimes against humanity will stand up and say: Yes, it was us. And now we want to stand before the court ourselves, before the judges we ourselves have chosen, before the prosecutors we ourselves have chosen, so that they can judge whether what we did was right or wrong. The judges who three months ago,or the RKI files were leaked, they all still told me that they did everything right back then. These judges should now suddenly start to investigate. That won't work either. It will only work then - and Ralf Boes has just announced it, and I agree with Ralf Boes, with a lot of people, and feel free to take a look at the website he mentioned.
I think we have to go through the federal states. We have our own constitution in each federal state. And because they are separate constitutions, each of the constitutions in the federal state allows us to change these constitutions.
We have the power in our hands. You just don't know it. Rainer Mausfeld always says that there are great illusionists at work. We live in an illusion of democracy. It is claimed that we have a democracy. But we only have a representative democracy. And a representative democracy is actually just a cover for the fact that we still live in an aristocracy or an oligarchy. But a representative democracy, a representative democracy, is the opposite of democracy. Because the only thing that representative democracy allows you to do is to select those who rule you every four years. But only from a small circle of those who rule you. You have no chance at all to decide on the content of politics, on the measures of politics, on the rules of politics. Even though you and I are the people of this country. That means that we can seize this power in the federal states. That is a question of power.
We as the people have to ask the question of power after what we have experienced in the last four years. And if we don't do it, we have just seen it with the ban on the magazine whose name we are not allowed to mention because otherwise we would be violating the conditions. It doesn't matter what the content of this magazine is. If the state, if the state censors the press, there is no reappraisal. Then there is only domination and we must defend ourselves against that together.
I'll start. Starting tomorrow, I'll be touring Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg with the ZAAVV mobile, which will be there from August 4th, so from tomorrow, until September 22nd. I'm touring all three states because there are state elections in each of them. And I would like to encourage people in these states to change their constitutions and say that in the future we as a people want to have - and remember this word - the "final decision-making authority". We want to be able to question, obstruct and prevent every political decision. That is the right that we as a people have. And then, to answer the question that came from here earlier, then it doesn't matter at all whether there is an occupation or not, because we people are taking power into our own hands.
And now, finally, to conclude, I would like to say again, many people... Oh, I should also say that many of our employees, many helpers, are standing at the ZAAVV mobile. There are flyers, postcards, postcards, for example, about the WHO treaty. There will certainly still be reports about the WHO treaty today.
I am often asked how you manage to keep going on stage, to keep touring the countries, to keep being there, to do the court cases. How do you manage to have this strength and keep going?
I want to say one thing. For me there is no alternative to this. It is our future, it is the future of our children and it is the future of our grandchildren. And either we leave the future to others or we take it into our own hands. And for me there is no question about it. We take this future into our own hands. And to conclude, I would like to say one thing. We have now criticized the leading and mainstream media. But don't forget that we have so many alternative media. We have so many great programs, be it Kontrafunk, be it Radio Morgenröte, be it Apolut, be it Klartext, the citizens' newspaper, and be it the Democratic Resistance back there, and this is very important to me too. The Democratic Resistance has been your companion for four years. Of course I haven't mentioned all of them, there are many more. And the Democratic Resistance has a lot of great new projects right now. Check them out too. But go to the alternative media. Actually, they aren't the alternative media anymore. Actually, they are the mainstream media and the others are not the alternative media, they are simply the old media.
