If you want to pay with cash, you must be able to pay with cash! Federal popular initiative
Switzerland can be a beacon for the whole of Europe and the whole world, for the preservation of cash and thus freedom!
Richard Koller has launched a second cash initiative with the Freedom Movement Switzerland.
Why is this second initiative needed? It's very simple: if you want to pay with cash, you must be able to pay with cash! Despite the Federal Law on Currencies, the economy is able to abolish cash because contract law and economic freedom take precedence over this Federal Law.
Sign this initiative today:

We need Cash Initiative 2 with the title "If you want to pay with cash, you must be able to pay with cash!"
After Cash Initiative 1, launched by Richard Koller with the Freedom Movement Switzerland, or FBS for short, was passed with 136,000 valid signatures and put to a vote by the people, a second cash initiative is still needed.
Why is this needed?
Although the Federal Law on Currencies actually stipulates that the Federal Council must maintain cash, the economy wants to abolish it in the long term with the help of its large lobby.
The economy can abolish cash despite the Federal Law on Currencies because contract law and economic freedom are superior to this federal law.
Contract law is dispositive and because it is superior to federal law, it cannot really protect cash.
That is why we need Cash Initiative 2, which demands that the protection of cash as legal tender be anchored in the constitution.
What is dispositive statutory law? In the legal dictionary, dispositive law is understood to mean laws that have the purpose of allowing all the contents of the contractual arrangements to deviate from the law. Other terms for dispositive law in the legal dictionary are flexible or negotiable law. This means that the obligation to accept cash only applies if the parties have not made any other agreements.
In practical terms of the use of cash, it means the following:
Up to now, every business has been able to decide for itself whether or not it wants to accept, for example, thousand-franc notes or small coins or even cash in general.
What happens if the economy finds paying with cash unattractive or abolishes it altogether?
This means that paying with cash is coming under increasing pressure. Even today, certain public institutions no longer offer the option of paying with cash, e.g. for tickets to events; in toilets at train stations or for festivals where you can no longer pay with cash.
But the Federal Council does not want to introduce a law requiring the compulsory acceptance of cash. That is why we need Cash Initiative 2, which requires that the federal government provide cash and that it be available to citizens as a means of payment and accepted everywhere as a means of payment.
The abolition of cash is already being pushed through across Europe. The EU is planning to introduce digital central bank money as early as 2026. Digital central bank money includes the option of blocking certain payments specifically for a person.
What people tend to forget: If digital central bank money is introduced, Twint, credit cards and debit cards will most likely also disappear. These will then become superfluous because they would continue to guarantee a certain degree of freedom, which is not what is desired.
This is another step towards a surveillance state that can control and sanction its citizens by blocking accounts.
Switzerland is the only country in Europe that has the opportunity to achieve a change in the constitution through its direct democracy and with the help of this initiative. In this case, to save cash. Because citizens must retain the ability to buy and sell anonymously. Cash guarantees this and is therefore freedom!
Switzerland can be a beacon for the whole of Europe and the whole world, for the preservation of cash and thus freedom!
If this is important to you, sign the cash initiative "Those who want to pay with cash must be able to pay with cash!" Below the broadcast is the link where you can download the signature sheets.
And remember that you will continue to need cash regularly in your everyday life so that there is no longer any justification for the state to abolish it. Because using cash means freedom!
