The Bundeswehr is preparing an operations plan for Germany: Regardless of all the terrible experiences from the First and Second World Wars, the German population is once again being sworn in for a major war. Economics, politics and finance expert Ernst Wolff explains possible reasons why the German government is preparing us so consistently for a possible war instead of setting the course for peace or at least trying to negotiate peace. Wars never happen by chance Wars are always prepared for a long, long time. That applies to the First World War, that applies to the Second World War, and that applies to all wars since then. They are prepared for a long time. So there is a huge logistical effort involved. A war never happens as it is presented to the public, suddenly from one day to the next. Things are always moving in the background. And in the Ukraine war, for example, you could tell weeks in advance that troop movements were underway. Everything was prepared very, very carefully. And the whole thing is of course a huge business. And that is why those involved in this business must of course be informed in good time. The arms industry must be informed in good time that a larger number of weapons will soon be required than before, because a lot of weapons have to be destroyed very quickly in a war like this. And of course supplies must be delivered very quickly. So in war, the transition of the economy from a peacetime economy to a war economy is also important. That too has to be prepared. There are all sorts of things going on in the background that the average citizen is completely unaware of. The interesting thing about wars is that wars today are not fought to be won, and were not fought in the past either. Wars are nothing more than a promotion of the arms industry. And the arms industry is now completely in the hands of the IT industry and the big financial groups. And they are having problems at the moment; they are not making enough profits. And they are now making these profits through wars. How to keep making people willing to go to war. Governments tell people that we are against the other government. So an enemy is simply built up. In the case of Ukraine, it was suddenly the great dictator Putin. ... ... Ukraine looks like David against Goliath Russia. And the average person, of course, always sides with David and is immediately against Goliath. The American government is currently acting as if it were the great enemy of the Chinese government. In reality, the large American IT companies work together with the large Chinese IT companies. Basically, in the background, some kind of economy or alliance is always being promoted. And people, ordinary people on the street, are simply given the impression that one state is fighting against another state. Because this is the only way to ideologically drive people to actually take part in these wars and, for example, to send their own sons and daughters into battle. This easily gives people the impression that wars are necessary and unavoidable because one country is hostile to another and is threatening it militarily. But if wars are planned and wanted, if they serve no other purpose than to promote the arms industry and the large IT and financial companies, then it is in the interests of the people to say NO to these plans. If enemy images are merely used for manipulation to convince peoples who are not willing to go to war of the necessity of military conflict, then it is important to say NO to manipulation and propaganda now. We do not need to be able to fight for war - we need to become able to fight for peace again. Will these important connections reach the public's consciousness in time? If not, you too could be asked to take part in a war in the near future, whether as a soldier or a civilian. At the latest then, everyone must answer the question for themselves with the utmost consequence: for whom orwhy would I risk my life in an emergency? The writer Wolfgang Borchert put a possible answer on paper back in 1947. But it can be applied today and tomorrow in the same way. You. Man at the machine and man in the workshop. If tomorrow they order you to stop making water pipes and cooking pots and start making steel helmets and machine guns, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Girl behind the counter and girl in the office. If tomorrow they order you to fill grenades and mount telescopic sights for sniper rifles, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Owner of the factory. If tomorrow they order you to sell gunpowder instead of powder and cocoa, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Researcher in the laboratory. If tomorrow they order you to invent a new death to counter the old life, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Poet in your room. If they order you tomorrow not to sing love songs, but to sing hate songs, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Doctor at the sickbed. If they order you tomorrow to declare men fit for war, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Priest in the pulpit. If they order you tomorrow to bless murder and sanctify war, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Captain on the steamer. If they order you tomorrow to no longer transport wheat - but cannons and tanks, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Pilot on the airfield. If they order you tomorrow to carry bombs and phosphorus over the cities, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Tailor on your board. If they order you tomorrow to cut uniforms, then there is only one thing to do: say NO! You. Judge in a robe. If they order you tomorrow to go to the court martial, then there is only one thing to do: Say NO! You. Man at the station. If they order you tomorrow to give the signal for the ammunition train and the troop transport to depart, then there is only one thing to do: Say NO! You. Man in the village and man in the city. If they come tomorrow and give you the call-up order, then there is only one thing to do: Say NO! You. Mother in Normandy and mother in the Ukraine, you, mother in Frisco and London, you, on the Hoangho and the Mississippi, you, mother in Naples and Hamburg and Cairo and Oslo - mothers in all parts of the world, mothers in the world, if they order you tomorrow to give birth to children, nurses for military hospitals and new soldiers for new battles, mothers in the world, then there is only one thing to do: Say NO!
