ORF - where is the objective reporting in times like these?
Apart from a short, very questionable report, the ORF ZIB 2 programme has so far not reported on the RKI protocols that have been released. As a result, a press conference was held in Linz on 7 May by WIR EMUs, who have lodged a complaint with KommAustria against this ORF reporting.
However, this press conference was about much more than the ORF's stance on the RKI protocols. Watch the most important excerpts and make up your own mind, dear viewers, whether you can continue to support public service broadcasting.
[weiterlesen]
In his most recent broadcast, Kla.TV founder Ivo Sasek showed 40 reasons why he doesn't pay the Serafe, the compulsory media tax in Switzerland. High-ranking experts classified the reporting by the forced media in the D-A-CH countries as criminal and extremely endangering public welfare.
A double-edged sword emerges:
The obvious side is that those who refuse to pay will face criminal liability.
However, the hidden side states that people are legally prohibited from becoming financially involved in criminal activities.
In Austria, the new ORF household levy has replaced the previous GIS fee since 2024 and is collected by ORF-Betrags Service GmbH (OBS).
As Kla.TV already revealed in the documentaries The ORF Files - Corruption and Interdependence on a Large Scale and The ORF Files - Hidden Influence, there is also reason for the ORF compulsory levy not to pay the fee in order not to become complicit in the financing a “criminal organization”:
• ORF's top salaries cause outrage among the population
• Dependence on corporations undermines the ORF's independence
• Political integration on a large scale undermines the control function
• Manipulated reporting in favor of politics:
Resignation of ORF2 editor-in-chief and ORF country director
Now the Austrian Constitutional Court even found in October 2023 that the ORF was operating unconstitutionally due to the unauthorized political appointments to the committees.
In addition, ORF was caught censoring live in October 2023. The well-known ski racer Benni Raich received instructions from ORF not to say anything more during an interview on climate issues.
Despite all the investigative work, despite the ongoing revelation of scandals presented as conspiracy theories, the ORF is not willing to regulate its reporting to TRUE. Do those responsible lack the courage to admit their mistakes and draw conclusions from them or are there other reasons for this behavior?
ORF's recent reporting on the RKI scandal provides another reason to withhold the household tax.
The RKI protocols, which were released by the German online magazine “Multipolar”, have caused great outrage among the population. Now German media felt compelled to report on it. The ORF also finally reported with a delay - however: the way the ZIB 2 report from March 25th was designed and, above all, how it was moderated by Armin Wolf was tendentious, manipulative and by no means objective. But see for yourself.
Armin Wolf: “And so to Germany, where previously secret protocols from the first months of the pandemic are causing a stir. These are transcripts from the RKI, the Robert Koch Institute, which has provided leading advice to the German government. A right-wing online magazine has legally forced the publication of these protocols and opponents of the measures back then now feel vindicated; because of critical comments about the benefits of FFP2 masks or about lockdowns. So-called lateral thinkers are cheering on social media - but wrongly, say the RKI and the German government. The quotes should not be taken out of context.”
Apart from this three and a half minute report in ZIB 2, there was no further reporting on the RKI protocols on ORF. Due to this ORF reporting, WIR EMUs held a press conference in Linz on May 7th. EMU stands for real, courageous and unwavering. The association for the promotion of society and well-being is a network of non-partisan organized people, with mutual support and assistance. The EMUs filed a complaint with KommAustria against the ORF reporting on the RKI protocols.
Dear viewers, this press conference was about much more than the ORF's stance on the RKI protocols. The speakers showed that public discourse or neutral reporting on the Corona issue is still being prevented by the ORF. They complained that to date there have been no discussions on a substantive level with media representatives and government representatives.
Now see excerpts from this interesting conference.
We start with Sabine Spögler-Dinse. She worked for ORF Seitenblicke for many years. Because of the 2G regulation, she was no longer allowed to enter the company from autumn 2021 and lost her job after 25 years. Now listen to how manipulative the ORF's in-house measures were back then.
I was allowed to work until fall 2021 and was tolerated. Then, when the ORF de facto introduced compulsory vaccination for employees, I had to leave. But up to this point it was already the case that the measures taken during filming and moderation were simply, as we put it, not consistently sensible and dripping with reason.
We have a symbolic image here, you can see what the working conditions were like. We had to conduct interviews with two-meter-long fishing rods, but were allowed to stand next to each other for photos afterwards. The most important thing was always that the viewer believed that all the measures were highly sensible and would be followed by everyone everywhere. Of course it wasn't like that. In the background everything was always different. They stood together, but in front of the camera they extended the two-meter rod. Nobody was allowed to walk in the background without a mask and it was immediately cut out. The idea was to create the illusion that everyone was doing everything the government had told them to do.
Keyword mask: You can see that the interviewer had to wear a mask, but the person being interviewed did not. It was all purely random. The instructions came: today everyone wore a mask, tomorrow only the interviewers, then again outdoors also wore a mask, then again not. So it didn't really make sense, let's put it that way. And it was also the case, if you questioned it, that you were a bit suspicious right from the start and then relatively quickly you were seen as a lateral thinker.
And some, keyword lateral thinkers, still adhere to this narrative today. That everyone who asks critical questions, who wants to look behind the facade, is a lateral thinker. And that's exactly why we're here today, why we're sitting here.
Now listen to Bernhard Costa, the spokesman for the EMUs. He speaks from the hearts of many groups, initiatives and companies:
And I probably also speak for hundreds of thousands of other not entirely satisfied compulsory fee payers and ORF consumers. So there is real power behind this complaint.
The journalist Paul Schreyer asserted in a lengthy and expensive legal dispute that the RKI must publish the protocols. And another person, Peter Hahne, a ZDF veteran, said that the RKI files show that all conspiracy theories are pure reality. So something happened. This wind that swept through the media landscape in Germany stopped at the gates of ORF.
As a simple person, as a fee payer, as a concerned father of three, please allow me to say a few general words in this area. And I say it again and again and I mean it honestly: I am of the opinion, especially in difficult times, that we need a strong, independent ORF and I would also be happy to pay fees for it. That would be worth it to me. But this ORF at the moment, not at the moment, it has now taken four years, is standing in the way of coming to terms with it. And I'm saying this now in clear words; in my view, this is a danger, a real danger for our society through latent, one-sided reporting. And he's showing it again now, he's playing a totally inglorious role in covering up what is probably the biggest medical-political scandal in human history. I think the facts that are currently on the table show this clearly. Because the ORF does not stand for reappraisal, as has become clear in the last few days and weeks, I am trying to make a contribution to reappraisal within the scope of my emotional and civil society possibilities. And I am personally convinced that the process of coming to terms with it can only begin when the general population really understands what has happened here and is still happening.
And for this reason there are now fewer words and I'll let self-explanatory pictures do the talking. I'm doing this now in Telegram style, in fast forward. But they are images from system media, because system media is trusted. And it started in mid-2021 at the European Football Championships, where only football supporters were exposed to a new event for the first time. Namely, that you are watching something on television and suddenly an athlete falls over. And it is an isolated case. And this continues until today in 2024, when a few days ago the fastest marathon runner in Switzerland suddenly collapsed, died from a heart attack. But fortunately we are always told that such events are fortunately rare and isolated cases. And the question is: Are they really isolated cases? So I have a clear answer, but maybe that's just my distorted perception.
I invite you to share the perception with me and I don't want to bore you now. In my research I have about 180 pictures from the last three years, I'm just limiting myself to the last few weeks (!):
January 16th, 43 years old, died suddenly, unexpectedly. January 22nd, 23 years old, track and field athlete dies; January 26th, pole vault world champion, 29 years old, suddenly and unexpectedly. January 29th, Panama's record goalscorer with 41, died completely unexpectedly, heart attack. And so forth. I don't always say the date. It happens almost in a daily rhythm, cardiac arrest at 39 years olden, suddenly and unexpectedly. Shocking diagnosis, national player at 28 fighting for his life. No heartbeat for an hour, Egyptian footballer's life is in danger. Argentina professional collapses in game, blood clots. Former team player dies at 44 due to heart attack. Arsenal star collapses on the pitch, this is also a photo from women's football, this unique event has also arrived there. On the same day, April 1st, the second headline hit a national player at the age of 24. In Styria, kicker dies suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 24. Game canceled in Italy, Roma star collapses on the pitch. At the age of 26, footballer dies of cardiac arrest after scoring a goal. 43-year-old former boxing world champion dies unexpectedly. Argentina's former striker admitted to hospital with chest pains. Recently in the German, I think regional league, a goalkeeper collapsed during the game and later died in hospital. A 29-year-old had a heart attack and was diagnosed by the cardiologist as a result of the mRNA vaccination. And there were a few more in the last few days, but then I finished. On May 2nd, young cricket star dies at just 20 years old.
When people finally connect the dots and realize: No, it's not an isolated case that only happens in football or only with athletes. These are just the things that pop up in the mainstream media. Under the surface this is happening in thousands, tens of thousands. I don't even want the unreported number, I don't even want to put it in my mouth. You can only imagine terrible things and you can't do that today, we have been able to foresee that for a long time. We hear it all the time: “You couldn’t have known any better.” Yes, yes, yes! And the serious doctors and also serious journalists knew it and always pointed it out.
What I'm briefly showing you behind me is a criminal complaint filed by our courageous lawyer Dr. Wolfgang Schmidauer brought in EMUs for us. This is from February 2022. This criminal complaint is directed against Health Minister Mückstein and the entire vaccination committee.
I would like to spare you all the details now. But a focus of this criminal complaint was the topic of myocarditis, thrombosis, the danger warnings, especially sudden cardiac death. And that was supported by documents from the Paul Ehrlich Institute. So not from some sworn source, but from a government advisory body. They probably didn't take this criminal complaint too seriously, otherwise something would have come out of it. But only if someone says you couldn't have known that.
We put money into our hands, made an APA OTS broadcast and this APA broadcast was the most read headline in Austria for eight days. So obviously a lot of people read it, but obviously not a journalist from mainstream media, especially not from ORF. Because it was never reported on.
But what they have already done at ORF: Ten months later, they are still blatantly spreading fake news. At that time, a program was made about the side effects of vaccinations and an attempt was made to trivialize it. And presented myocarditis and thrombosis as harmless symptoms that can be easily treated. This is a trivialization of the facts. And that, I repeat my words, is a danger to our society through false or one-sided reporting. Because by trivializing these risks, people continued to be pushed into the needle.
And let's start with Günther Mayr. Günther Mayr is head of the science department at ORF. I've been told by several sources that he basically provides the narrative, the religion, that the moderators also give.
People like him have determined for the last four years that world-renowned doctors, such as Andreas Sönnichsen - he has defamed them and defined a new type of medicine. It has to be questioned in principle, but I would like to give an example of why this person constantly spewed out dangerous fake news. Dangerous fake news! And I would like to use the example of AstraZeneca, which is currently on everyone's lips again.
Take a quick look back with me to 2021. On March 15th, German Health Minister Spahn appeared in front of the media - the pressure became so great, as far as I know there were around 15 deaths at that time - and he said: We'll take it AstraZeneca from the market and no longer vaccinating our population, it is no longer responsible. Five days later, on March 20, a nurse also died in Austria, apparently as a result of the AstraZeneca vaccination.
And a day later, on March 21st, the boss, the head of the science editorial team, went to every ORF program from morning to night and told, and I quotee: “AstraZeneca is very, very safe. The probability of developing a thrombosis with the virus is much higher than with the vaccination.”
I asked myself, in whose interest is he speaking? Does he believe what he's saying? Is it responsible? Is it in the service of science? Is he in the service of the pharmaceutical lobby? Is he in the service of the government, which still has a few million doses that need to be vaccinated? I don't know it. It's not my job to question that. All I know is that it is irresponsible to make such statements with the facts that were already on the table at the time. And today, now at the latest according to RKI protocols, we know that this and many, many other things that this man said, whether it was about tests, about masks, about lockdowns - all fake news. He was wrong about everything that ever existed. And normally in a private sector, one would say, it's part of the culture, in Japan at least, to apologize for mistakes or losing your job, at least.
Do you believe that it is in the interest of Günther Mayr and his disciples at ORF, if I may put it that way, to process the RKI protocols seriously? So my answer to that is clear: No, because that would reveal your own failure. You would saw off your own branch. And that's why it's up to us to start coming to terms with it from outside and, so to speak, to force the pressure from the civilian level. And I would like to thank all the remaining media outlets who are fulfilling their journalistic duty of care and helping us to advance this issue surrounding the ORF, so to speak.
The lawyer Alexander Todor-Kostic wrote the ORF complaint to KommAustria. From the beginning of the Corona measures, he was very critical, but also very supportive, especially towards the people who suffered injustice during this time. He was also described as a corona denier, a swearer and a right-wing radical.
I feel elevated in the face of such fighting terms. I would have faced discussions on a factual level with media representatives and government representatives at any time, but that didn't happen because such discussions were, as is well known, prevented.
It even went so far that in 2020, when we gathered on the Lawyers for Fundamental Rights platform and then also talked to doctors, like Andreas Sönnichsen, Martin Haditsch and other deserving personalities, we didn't do it anymore had the opportunity to convey our opinions through the media. That was turned off. There was a uniform opinion, there were media that were aligned, with the exception of the alternative media, which then became increasingly stronger and which really stepped in for what the leading media, as they say, should actually bring. And for me that was actually the lowest point of democracy, because, as we all know, a democratic constitutional state thrives on discourse and free expression of opinion. And the further low point was that we had to place an advertisement (!) in 2021 so that we could actually bring our theses and our criticism and our skepticism about the measures at the time and the federal government's Corona measures policy to the people. We raised money - there were also sponsors at the time who supported it - and we placed an advertisement through the extra-parliamentary Corona investigation committee, which was published in several media outlets. Several have rejected it. They also refused to print an advertisement in exchange for money. So that was very close to one - these are totalitarian traits, I really have to say.
That's how it was, we placed this advertisement and the knee-jerk response was from these uniform media, namely from very prominent journalists - I can now mention the name Armin Wolf, which we will come back to, and Florian Klenk - so that's who we are We have not been confronted with a request to address these issues, but rather as Corona deniers. Original sound Armin Wolf and fake news spreader original sound Florian Klenk. What did we claim in this advertisement? We have claimed or questioned whether the mask requirement, as ordered, does more harm than good. We questioned the PCR tests and we opposed compulsory vaccination, which was still massively denied at the time, and we warned about the collateral damage, which I think, according to the latest statistics, is currently valued at upwards of 700 billion, if you take everything into account added up, written.
That was our crime, that was the fall from grace, that we were insulted as corona deniers, so to speak. We then defended ourselves against this in a group of doctors and lawyers and filed a lawsuit, brought an injunction against both Armin Wolf and Florian Klenk and we lost them in both cases in the highest court. That was the lowest point for me as a lawyer, as a lawyer, as a fundamental rights activist in a republic, in a democracy.
So I have taken note that we should all keep our mouths shut, that we shouldn't worry, but that we can place ourselves safely in the hands of the Republic of Austria, the state, which tells us every day with its state power: what we have to think and do. That was the introduction, so to speak. The piquancy of the whole thing is that today we are dealing with Armin Wolf again with the RKI files, which were deservedly highlighted by the online magazine Polar. Armin Wolf is once again the mastermind, who is now back in front of the curtain as the person who insulted us back then because of facts that were possibly exactly the same as we criticized them, and also by opponents of the measures, by lateral thinkers, by people , who are now rejoicing because they may have found success somewhere, speaks without even approaching this topic with a journalistic approach. And of course that immediately got me thinking, we can't leave it like this again.
This would really be a good reason to try it again. Because now it's not about some triviality or some minor detail, about an accusation against the ORF that it has violated the principle of objectivity somewhere - but now it's about whether the public broadcaster is in a position to clear up such a scandal. whether he has his own strength, whether he also has the self-cleaning power to appear here. Or whether we are dealing with an ORF that continues to stick to the political narrative, as this last article on March 25th in ZIB 2 showed. And you have to be honest, when you look at it, you have to be of the opinion that nothing has changed. And I believe that the ORF is acting the way it is now for good reason, because it would itself have a duty to justify itself. You have to imagine that the government and the ORF forced us into this situation back then.
This Corona story was never about health protection. It wasn't about that. It was about establishing control and restricting the population in order to ultimately force them into this Covid-19 injection as much as possible. So that was the goal.
Dear viewers, it is worth listening to Alexander Todor-Kostic's further statements about the misconduct of ORF presenter Armin Wolf in the press conference video. His criticism of the ORF also affects other people involved:
What about the state directors who cooperate with all the state governors they previously chose? What about the other editorial staff who are responsible for this reporting that we had there, where this uniform opinion came about? The ORF is a controlling authority and it doesn't even begin to be that. He is the vicarious agent, not only of the federal government, but of the pharmaceutical industry. And that needs to be stopped. We have the right, even if we have to pay ORF contributions through compulsory contributions, to actually receive objective reporting here too. But the ORF is so far away from that that you can't expect that in the next few years. I am also represented on a platform where we support the population against the ORF contribution. And I can only say: As long as the ORF is not completely reformed editorially and structurally, it will not be able to fulfill its public service mandate. And heads have to roll. Something simply has to change fundamentally. This can no longer be achieved with cosmetics.
The author, scientist and physician Dr. Andreas Sönnichsen criticized the measures from the very beginning, and later also the vaccination and the way people were treated.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is really quite astonishing what has now come to light through the RKI protocols. I remember March 20, 2020. The lockdown was just four days old in Austria. In Germany it had been decided but not yet implemented. We from the German Evidence-Based Medicine Network published the first statement under my leadership. Published with the headline: Where is the evidence? And these are exactly the questions that were actually asked by the RKI itself. And I find that very surprising. I have to disagree a bit, so to speak, because the RKI has actually – Lauterbach is absolutely right – the RKI has done excellent scientific work, at least in the lower departments. DYou did everything right, except that the fish stinks from the head. It was, so to speak, ignored by the RKI leadership and the political establishment, which so to speak patronizes the RKI, or did exactly the opposite of what the lower departments in the RKI actually said.
Markus Haintz is a lawyer and an active critic of the Corona measures from the beginning. He has also been working as a journalist for some time and successfully runs his online portal Haintz.Media:
First of all, I have to agree with Alexander. The RKI itself generally does a good job. The question is how this will be implemented politically. So most of the numbers, data and facts at the RKI are initially correct. Only political influence is the problem because the RKI is a supreme federal authority. And when the ORF then says that the RKI and the Federal Ministry of Health say, it's the same thing - the Federal Ministry of Health, the Federal Minister of Health can give instructions to the RKI. That's why the federal government is ultimately speaking or has spoken through the RKI. This is very important to note. And it is quite clear why there is no interest in clarifying this: because everyone took part - in the media, in politics, in the judiciary, in business. So many people have taken part in this Corona crisis, which is incorrectly referred to as the Corona pandemic, that it is incredibly difficult to expect any clarification here. You have to think about: How do you approach the whole thing? First of all, as I have often said clearly, we must not leave the clarification to those responsible. Above all, we must not leave them to the perpetrators. And many of these perpetrators are still in office.
And it's the same with the judiciary, they've all played along and they'll play along again next time if the free media and civil society aren't loud enough and finally open their mouths. Because I still miss that. It's not enough for many people to say: Yes, I may see it that way too, but I don't dare open my mouth. I've noticed this again recently with my lawyer colleagues. A lot of people say: Yes, I think it's great what some people do, what I do. We are all behind you. But that doesn't help. We have to stand next to one. It's really a big problem that far too few people still open their mouths. And we simply have to learn that for the future. And of course it is also important to support the free media because they are ultimately the mouthpiece.
It is important that we once again make it clear to the people we work with in the old media, in the established media, and also in public broadcasting: You should report, you should not re-educate people. It's not your job to make politics. It is your job to inform people and give them the opportunity to form their own opinions. That is the job of the media. Not to be a political helper and to push through certain things just because it is politically desirable.
We need transparency in a democracy. If the state that represents us wants to take away our rights, then it has to justify it. Then I would like to have this explained transparently and then it cannot happen in some small box, then it cannot happen with redacted protocols, then it has to happen in a public debate. And for that we need media, for that we need the established media, and for that we also need the free media.
Dear viewers, as expected, this WIR EMUs press conference was completely ignored by ORF and other mainstream media. It was at least worth a short report to the private broadcaster Servus TV. However, the new media such asAuf1, RTV and Info-DIREKT fulfilled their information mandate. They reported on it promptly and appropriately, as Kla.TV now does.
You can find access to the press conference in its entirety below this broadcast.
Finally, to come back to the beginning - the double-edged sword shown there is still in the room. This is:
EITHER stop paying the ORF compulsory fee - this could put those who refuse to pay in criminal liability. OR continuing to pay the fee means committing a criminal offense, as financial participation in criminal activities is prohibited by law. How do you deal with ORF?
21.05.2024 | www.kla.tv/29114
In his most recent broadcast, Kla.TV founder Ivo Sasek showed 40 reasons why he doesn't pay the Serafe, the compulsory media tax in Switzerland. High-ranking experts classified the reporting by the forced media in the D-A-CH countries as criminal and extremely endangering public welfare. A double-edged sword emerges: The obvious side is that those who refuse to pay will face criminal liability. However, the hidden side states that people are legally prohibited from becoming financially involved in criminal activities. In Austria, the new ORF household levy has replaced the previous GIS fee since 2024 and is collected by ORF-Betrags Service GmbH (OBS). As Kla.TV already revealed in the documentaries The ORF Files - Corruption and Interdependence on a Large Scale and The ORF Files - Hidden Influence, there is also reason for the ORF compulsory levy not to pay the fee in order not to become complicit in the financing a “criminal organization”: • ORF's top salaries cause outrage among the population • Dependence on corporations undermines the ORF's independence • Political integration on a large scale undermines the control function • Manipulated reporting in favor of politics: Resignation of ORF2 editor-in-chief and ORF country director Now the Austrian Constitutional Court even found in October 2023 that the ORF was operating unconstitutionally due to the unauthorized political appointments to the committees. The quotes should not be taken out of context.” Apart from this three and a half minute report in ZIB 2, there was no further reporting on the RKI protocols on ORF. He speaks from the hearts of many groups, initiatives and companies: And I probably also speak for hundreds of thousands of other not entirely satisfied compulsory fee payers and ORF consumers. In my research I have about 180 pictures from the last three years, I'm just limiting myself to the last few weeks (!): January 16th, 43 years old, died suddenly, unexpectedly. The probability of developing a thrombosis with the virus is much higher than with the vaccination.” I asked myself, in whose interest is he speaking? His criticism of the ORF also affects other people involved: What about the state directors who cooperate with all the state governors they previously chose? He has also been working as a journalist for some time and successfully runs his online portal Haintz.Media: First of all, I have to agree with Alexander. The RKI itself generally does a good job.
