Още през 2018 г. парламента на ЕС представи проучване, в което използването на чип имплантати в Европа за работниците са подробно описани. Въпреки че не е съвместимо с личните права на работниците да им бъде имплантиран чип под кожата, точно това е планирано в проучването. Също така, че въвеждането на имплантите е в нарушение на неприкосновеността на човешкото тяло се признава открито. Основни права, като например религиозни убеждения и защита на данните биват изброени, за да може да се обясни веднага как те могат да бъдат заобиколени. Проучването заключава, че са необходими интереси на по-високо ниво, като тези за националната сигурност, за да може да се поставят имплантатите. Необходимо е да се докаже, че няма ефективни алтернативи за използването на имплантирани чипове. Въведението е трудно, "докато няма извънредна ситуация или повишено търсене на имплантируеми RFID чипове на работното място". Глобалната пандемия от корона ли е тази извънредна ситуация " в интерес на националната сигурност", която вече е въведена, за да се оправдае в бъдеще имплантирането на човечеството с RFID чипове?
