Quantum field of possibilities

“What does a natural scientist do when he suddenly realizes that what was considered the basis of natural science – namely matter which we can all grasp – does not exist? That this reality is a completely different one than we assumed so far? For if we keep taking matter apart, in the end there will be nothing left that looks like matter.” This is how elementary particles physicist Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Hans-Peter Duerr describes after a life of 50 years of research. Like others before him, he discovered that matter is more like something spiritual when you break it down into smaller and smaller components, right down to the very quanta. “Matter is not the foundation of our reality” he writes in his book: “Interconnectedness – why we need a new world view” and indeed his previous materialistic world view seems to have broken apart with the realization of this insight. Can we allow our world view to be shaken as well? Perhaps it seems difficult at first to apply these seemingly theoretical phenomena of the quantum world to our own lives, these phenomena that we want to illuminate in this broadcast series. But don’t we want to understand how the world really works? Lynne McTaggert writes in her book “Intention”: “Every thought we hold is a tangible energy with the power to transform… A thought is not only a thing; a thought is a thing that influences other things.” In a study it was also proven that the energies we send out through our feelings are up to 5,000 times stronger than the energies we generate through our thinking patterns. In practical terms, this means for our everyday life that the feelings I have for a certain person or situation have a direct influence on the situation and also on the person. Because targeted, focused feelings and thoughts are the entities that influence the quantum world. Therefore, in the current world situation, it seems particularly important to closely observe our thoughts and heart feelings. Because if we consciously shape a positive atmosphere, the world situation will move in that same direction. Let us be aware that we are not an individual, cut-off from the larger common whole, but we belong to an organism that constantly mutually influences itself.
