Inconsistencies around the "Bucha Massacre" - A broader perspective
The pictures of Bucha (Ukraine) went around the world. What exactly happened is unclear so far.
The Ukrainian and Russian accounts of events differ diametrically.
Everything points to an escalation with Russia. Could it even be foreshadowing a Third World War?
And who could have an interest in such an escalation?
The pictures from Butscha went around the world. Many corpses of civilians lying on the street. Some of them are tied up and were killed with shots to the head. A mass grave is also discovered. There is talk of over 400 dead.
What happened?
After Russian troops were attacked, they took up positions in early March in Butscha, a city of 35,000 inhabitants north of Kiev.
On March 30, all the Russian troops withdrew from Butcha, and on March 31, the mayor of Butcha reported that the city had been liberated. On April 2, the Ukrainian police entered the town.
The first photos from Butcha, showing corpses, start to circulate in the media on April 2. So, the third day after the Russian withdrawal from this place. On April 4, the New York Times reported satellite images purporting to show that many corpses had been lying in the streets of Butcha for several weeks. The satellite images are said to date from March 19 and 21.
What exactly happened in Butcha is not clear so far. The Ukrainian and Russian accounts of events differ diametrically. The Ukrainian government accuses the Russian army of brutally murdering over 400 civilians in this city near Kiev. The Russian government speaks of a "provocation by the Kiev regime" and claims that no one was harmed in the town until the withdrawal of Russian troops on March 30.
Testimony against testimony. Since "the first casualty of war is the truth," it is difficult to verify the authenticity of pictures, videos or witness statements. Thus, this program is not about taking a stand for one party or the other. However, it should point out some inconsistencies and raise broader questions.
First of all, the inconsistencies:
Still on March 31, the mayor of Butscha joyfully reported that the city had been liberated.
He did not mention a war crime or massacre with a single word. Only after the Ukrainian government denounced war crimes on April 3 did the mayor suddenly speak of hundreds of corpses.

Ukrainian police released a video on April 2 showing Ukrainian police entering the town of Butscha. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MNuMJNIS64 ]
The video documents destruction of property, but there is no talk of a massacre and no dead bodies are seen lying in the streets.
https://www.anti-spiegel.ru/2022/ein-video-der-ukrainischen-polizei-bestaetigt-dass-es-in-butscha-kein-massaker-der-russischen-armee-gegeben-hat/
If the satellite images from March 19 and 21, with the corpses on the streets, are real, how is it possible that dozens of corpses were lying on the streets in the city for two weeks without it being reported or published? Why were the satellite images from March 19 and 21 not published before April 4?
https://www.anti-spiegel.ru/2022/satellitenbilder-von-butscha-das-pentagon-hat-keine-eigenen-erkenntnisse-ueber-das-angebliche-massaker/
These satellite images are from the Maxar company, which is involved in at least four Pentagon programs and is very closely tied to the U.S. military.
https://www.anti-spiegel.ru/2022/die-firma-die-die-satellitenbilder-von-butscha-zeigt-ist-eng-mit-dem-pentagon-verbunden/
German non-fiction author Thomas Röper points out that many of the dead in the pictures are wearing white armbands. These armbands, he says, are an identifying feature of Russian soldiers. Over time, many people in Butscha also began wearing homemade white armbands in solidarity with the Russian soldiers.
https://www.anti-spiegel.ru/2022/warum-die-meldungen-ueber-angebliche-russische-kriegsverbrechen-in-butscha-eine-luege-sind/
Röper posed the question of who benefits from this war crime in Butscha. Would the Russians really have an interest in leaving hundreds of decomposing corpses lying in the streets when they leave? This would virtually play into the hands of Western politics to intensify their war rhetoric, sanctions and military buildup against Russia.

Before any independent investigation has even been deployed, a military buildup against Russia is on everyone's mind:
The U.S. wants to deliver more weapons to Ukraine "as quickly as possible," the Pentagon’s spokesman announced April 4. Stinger and Javelin missiles as well as drones "and other defense materiel" are to be rushed to Ukraine, the U.S. Defense Department reported.

If the German government has procrastinated so far over arms deliveries to the country invaded by the Russian army, there are now new considerations in the face of a shocked, horrified and committed public. in connection with the war atrocities in Butscha, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced: "We will once again increase our support for the defense of Ukraine," .
https://www.heise.de/tp/features/Ukraine-Krieg-Mehr-Waffen-aus-dem-Westen-6663629.html
Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, is pushing. "What we need today are heavy weapons," he told Germany’s Deutschlandfunk radio. What he added to this is remarkable though. It completely departs from mere defense against the attacker: You cannot launch a counteroffensive with a bazooka.
Röper further points out that there was a first tentative rapprochement between Russia and Ukraine at the negotiations in Istanbul on March 30. Accordingly, the path to peace could have consisted of Ukraine becoming a non-aligned and nuclear-weapon-free state. Ukraine would receive security guarantees, but in return would not be allowed to join NATO or station foreign troops. After the images of Butscha, peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are now surely over.
Everything points to an escalation with Russia. Could it even be a sign of a third world war? And who could have an interest in such an escalation? Russia, which would increasingly isolate itself and weaken economically? Or Europe, which would certainly be the first to be affected and driven to the brink of ruin? Would the U.S.A alone be the laughing third party, or would there be other beneficiaries?
At this point, the efforts of a few builders of a New World Order should be pointed out. Would it not be in their interest to drive Europe and Russia, together into a martial as well as economic disaster, in order to be able to prove themselves in the end as saviors and to be able to enforce the necessity of a world government?
