U.S. People's Convoy, a peaceful and unanimous popular movement

Modeled after Canada's Freedom Convoy, American truckers launched the People's Convoy from Adelanto Stadium in Southern California on February 23, 2022. This is a peaceful and united movement that stretches across the North American continent. Truckers and working people of the United States say they intend to travel peacefully and lawfully toward the East Coast. They would be joined in this effort by freedom-loving supporters from all walks of life, i.e., doctors, lawyers, first responders, former military members, students, retirees, mothers, fathers and children. People's Convoy, as its name suggests, sees itself as a people's movement that bridges all geographic, ethnic, cultural, religious, and partisan boundaries. It is also supported by a broad consortium of organizations. The message of The People's Convoy is simple. The last 23 months of the COVID-19 pandemic have been a tough road for all Americans: mentally, emotionally, physically, and - last but not least - financially. Now, the movement's spokespeople say, it's time to open up the country again. The average American worker, they say, must be put back in a position to earn his bread, pay his rents and mortgages, and get the economy moving again. To that end, they say, it is time for elected public servants to work with America's workers and employees to restore accountability and freedom. As a first step, that means lifting all Corona restrictions and ending the state of emergency so that all Americans can once again go about their work freely and without restriction.
