On February 02, 2020, the Russian foreign broadcaster RT was banned from broadcasting its program in Germany by the German media regulator ZAK (Commission for Licensing and Supervision of Media Institutions). Russia’s reaction followed just one day later with a ban on Deutsche Welle (DW) broadcasting in Russia, a response which now sparked a heated debate. But instead of pointing the finger at Russia, the ban on the Russian station in Germany by the German media supervisory authority should be questioned first. Did you know that there are now only about three global agencies through which almost the entire world receive their news? Could it be that news outlets that do not belong to these three global agencies are simply being turned off, and thus the supposedly diverse press is proving to be a big delusion? This worldwide news are controlled – and not uncommonly authored – by high military officials, intelligence agencies, etc., according to eyewitness accounts by Udo Ulfkotte (former newspaper employee) and many others. Anyone who carefully compares the seemingly diverse reports must come to the conclusion: They always and everywhere originate from one and the same basic statements. The constantly hyped diversity comes about merely by the different ways of preparation and skillful reformulation of journalists around the world. The previously mentioned three global agencies are the following: 1. The American Associated Press (AP) with over 4,000 employees worldwide. The AP is owned by US. media companies and has its main newsroom in New York. AP news is used by some 12,000 media outlets, reaching more than half the world’s population every day. 2. The virtually governmental French Agence France-Presse (AFP), headquartered in Paris and also employing about 4,000 people. AFP sends out more than 3,000 messages and 2,500 photos per day to media all over the world. 3. The British Reuters in London, which is privately owned and employs just over 3,000 people. Now the average Swiss or German will say to himself: That has nothing to do with our press, these agencies are based in America, France and Great Britain.
