On December 10th, 2021, the German Parliament (Bundestag) passed mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers, and expanding on this, mandatory vaccination for everyone is to be pushed through as quickly as possible. For many people, this is just going too far. They no longer accept these restrictions of basic rights. By the thousands, they are taking to the streets to stand up for their personal freedoms. During the past 2 years, the protests encompassed mainly large demonstrations and a few smaller vigils. Since December 2021 though, the resistance is much broader and spread throughout Germany, Europe, the World. Now, here in Germany in more than a thousand cities, people meet regularly for „marches“ and protest actions. They have had enough of politician’s dictates, confusing regulations and unfulfilled promises. And it is no longer just the unvaccinated who are taking to the streets. Vaccinated people are also rising up against restrictions on their freedom. However, the state-run and mainstream media are not only concealing the fundamentally peaceful nature of the protests, but also the unstoppably increasing numbers of participants and locations. All across Europe, for example in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, people are taking to the streets for their freedom. In Italy and France, they are protesting against the introduction of the vaccination passport! In Great Britain, Lebanon, South Korea and Australia, and in the USA and Canada too, people are standing up against their governments because they see their liberties more and more in danger. In addition to the website www.terminkalender.top, a group of artists has now also created an overview of the current protests – first specifically for Germany and Austria – a so-called interactive protest map. “At a glance, you can now quickly see where and when which protests are taking place. With the protest map, you can also network with local groups with just one click and even watch short films, videos and photos. The mainstream media really turns a blind eye to citizens’ demonstrations, or they criminalize them into right-wing extremist marches or the like.” The police are increasingly reaching their capacity limits with the many protests, as one police officer testifies. He reports that it is becoming increasingly difficult when all citizens protest at the same time. Reporting about the participants, he said: “I’ve participated in so many demonstrations – with those critical of government measures, myself in the last few months and I can say: these are the most peaceful demonstration participants I’ve seen in almost 20 years as a riot police officer.” [...] “Once people realize the power they have, it’s over.” “All power emanates from the people,” it says in the constitution. Despite demonstrable consistent lies and misleading reporting by the media and politicians, more and more people are becoming aware of this fact. Even though mainstream media and politics keep trying to weaken the people as the sovereign by refusing an open discourse, there are obviously forces at work in the people that are stronger. And so what was previously unthinkable is suddenly happening worldwide.
