Да ли је могуће умрети спокојно када се одузимају органи? Удружење ”Критичко разјашњење о трансплантацији органа” о току једног донирања пише следеће: ”Донатору се вежу руке и ноге да би се спречили покрети. При сечењу тела, од врата до стидне кости, долази до повећања крвног притиска и пулса. Код нормалне операције, ти знаци се сматрају за реакцију на бол. Међутим не код мождане смрти! Док срце куца, са органа се отклони околно ткиво и припреми за одстрањивање. При томе је важно органе конзервисати, то значи, да буду дуже употребљиви. Да би се учинили дуже употребљивим, у њих се убризгава једна хладна течност и тиме се одстрани крв из њих. Због тога може доћи до повећања крвног притиска и пулса или до трзања. И тек сада, када се одстрани орган, човек са можданом смрћу умире. На крају се често медицинском особљу препушта попуњавање тела и затварање огромне ране. Спокојна смрт, у присуству родбине или пријатеља, при одстрањивању органа, није могућа. Они који су тада поред, јесу лекари који врше трансплантацију.” Уз ово, још и изјава једне мајке, која је, без свеобухватног објашњења, дала тело њеног сина за донирање органа. Цитирам:” Кроз медицинску трансплантацију налазимо се у модерном канибализму. Човек другом човеку не чупа срце из груди и не једе га да би сам ојачао, не, у данашње време, човек леже на операциони сто, затвори очи и дозвољава да му се орган присаједини…Ја сам одустала од борбе за мога сина јер је лекар рекао да је Кристијан мртав”, крај цитата. Закључак: људи који се одлуче против донирања органа, не могу се дискриминирати као егоисти. Њихова одлука се врло могуће базира на дубљем знању о ономе што стоји иза тога, што још није изашло у ширу јавност. Помозите и ви да се ово сазнање даље шири, без којега се права одлука, за или против донирања органа, не може донети.
