Corona: Facebook og Google hævder "meningsmonopol"

Facebook-grundlægger Mark Zuckerberg ønsker at slette falske påstande og påståede konspirationsteorier om koronavirussen på internetplatformen Facebook. Internetgiganten Google støtter også en sådan indsats med et nyt finansieringsprogram på over 6,5 millioner amerikanske dollars til faktakontrolorganisationer. Facebook-grundlægger og chef Mark Zuckerberg ønsker at slette falske påstande og påståede konspirationsteorier om koronavirussen på internetplatformen Facebook, fordi det ville bringe folk i fare. I stedet får Verdenssundhedsorganisationen (WHO) så meget gratis annonceplads, som den har brug for. Andre organisationer vil også blive støttet med værdikuponer til blandt andet reklame. Hvor dum synes Zuckerberg faktisk, at brugerne af hans sociale medier er? Tilsyneladende har han ikke tillid til dem til at danne deres egne meninger om forskellige synspunkter? Internetgiganten Google støtter også en sådan indsats med et nyt finansieringsprogram på over 6,5 millioner amerikanske dollars til faktakontrolorganisationer. Den 2. april 2020 leverede Google oplysninger om den internationale faktakontroldag: Finansieringsprogrammet er rettet mod almennyttige organisationer, der har dedikeret sig til bekæmpelse af desinformation, især i forbindelse med koronavirussen. Hovedmålet med det nye finansieringsprogram er at reducere spredningen af farlige og forkerte oplysninger. Årsagen til dette er, at sundhedsorganisationer og førende politikere over hele verden har advaret om, at for meget information om coronavirus-pandemien kan gøre det vanskeligt for folk at få adgang til pålidelige kilder. Derfor ønsker Google nu at støtte almennyttige organisationer, der fokuserer på kvaliteten af information og verificering af fakta. Ud over den økonomiske støtte omfattede dette også nye funktioner til at synliggøre disse organisationers arbejde i Google-produkterne. Med denne opførsel vidner de to internetgiganter Google og Facebook, at de aktivt fremmer et stadig mere udbredt diktatur. Men hvad ville der ske, hvis al diktatur dikteret af Google, Facebook og massemedier blev lukket ned? Ville det virkelig være så dårligt, som de siger, eller ville det modsatte faktisk ske? Oplysningsmanden Michael Kent, der har været aktiv i over 20 år, stiller i dette års afsendelse nr. 4-6 et spændende spørgsmål: ”Hvad ville der ske, hvis du kunne lukke alle massemedier over hele verden i 14 dage? Forestil dig det i 14 dage: intet tv-program, ingen aviser, magasiner, nyheder, e-mails, sociale medier, mobiltelefoner, ingen radio, ingen internet ...! Umiddelbart ville der være en ufattelig ro, afslapning, tid til at trække vejret, folk ville slappe af og komme sig. Jeg spørger derfor: Hvis Corona ikke var blevet rapporteret overhovedet, dvs. ikke talt om i politik og massemedier, ville processen have været værre? Eller - tværtimod - måske endnu bedre? Kunne der have været færre syge og døde mennesker? Så ville spændingen, begrænsningerne, det økonomiske sammenbrud have været helt katastrofal, måske endda kontraproduktiv? ”
