Spread this good example it will destroy the powers instigating hate. “Journey to Peace” took place from September 24th to October 10th. From the starting point, Sderot on to the Dead Sea, where in the evening of Yom Kippur (the most important Israeli holiday) the huge festival of reconciliation was celebrated. Around 13,000 Israelis and Palestinians, as well as visitors from all over the world took part in the march, to demonstrate that peace between the two countries is very well possible. Both Israelis and Palestinians promised: “We will not give up, and will go on fighting for peace until the conflict is totally ended.”
